Stepping out into the unknown + a client win

I preach to my clients that stepping out into the unknown is the best part of life. That you don’t have to know each step of the way. That you only have to know the step right in front of you.

Driving in the dead of night do you wonder if your headlights will illuminate the next several feet in front of you? No. You trust. You trust that they will unfold and you will be able to see.

Life works in this way as well.

Are you brave enough to take the first step without knowing the next?

Do you trust that the Universe and life will support you in your unraveling, in your deepest opening of truth?

My client Lori did.

It wasn’t easy but she trusted. Because she knew that her medicine (her work) was powerful and that it was necessary.

And with that I want to share Lori with all of you. Because I am just so damn proud of her and she’s right.. this medicine is potent.

3 Crucial Lessons I Learned When I Got Sober
by Lori Koehl

“I am 5 years and 3 months sober (almost to the day).  Even typing that, I am thinking to myself HOLY SHIZ has it been that long since I drank. I am sure that is what the people who are closest to me would say as well. For the better part of a decade, I drank alcohol, mostly to excess.  Just for a little background, I bartended for 15 years before I hung up my bottle opener and wine key for good. This type of work tends to breed bad relationships with alcohol, but I can’t solely blame it on that because I’ve worked with plenty of people over the years who didn’t end up quite as fond of whiskey mixed with coffee in the morning as I did. (yes, there was a time in my life that whiskey made it into my coffee cup in the morning and vodka made its way into my protein shakes after the gym……embarrassing)” I invite you to continue reading and getting to know Lori here.

I also invite you to take the next step. Whatever that may look like for you. Magick is waiting for you on the other side of fear.

I am taking my own advice as well. And taking some time to welcome the breadth and depth of the nothingness that stands around us all. Dropping in to the sacred feminine even more deeply this week (as we welcome the new moon) and as I allow my own unraveling to take center stage.

More to come.
