Nature is calling…are you answering?

It’s hard NOT to notice the leaves on the ground all around on the East coast.

I spent considerable time raking them off my front lawn and back lawn. As I did this I couldn’t help but wonder what message nature was sending us humans and whether we were listening.

With the change of the seasons we receive the opportunity to release and let go of anything that is no longer serving us, as the trees do. But what happens after we release? Are we releasing but letting the energy fall and linger in our environment? Are we allowing this energy to be saturated within us once again? Or are we taking ample time to rake, clean, and clear ourselves and our surroundings of those things we are releasing?

I realized most of us release but revisit. I do this too. I say to myself “I choose to release this person and their energy from mine”. I cut cords, I forgive, I send love and light. But then I find myself re-visiting the situation and maybe even my forgiveness process. So while I may have shed the energy (or tried to), by re-visiting the situation I Am re-absorbing the energy once again.

So while not every tree has someone to rake it’s leaves, the process of the leaves re-entering the soil and becoming part of the Earth once again alters the leaves energetically and physically. What I am saying is that if you are unable to fully release, let go, and rake those leaves away; it is just as good to alter the energy of the situation and let that re-integrate into your being.

Here’s an example:

Your parents were abusive to you your entire life. Physically, mentally, emotionally. This is something difficult to let go of. But you’ve tried. You’ve forgiven, you’ve released, you’ve tried to cut cords and move on. But nothing seems to be changing. You are still constantly reminded of those dark days and the anger and hatred toward your parents doesn’t seem to subside.

Digging deep into this situation with a coach or therapist may help illuminate ancestral patterns, conditionings, and limitations that your parents couldn’t control (or didn’t know how). Understanding THEIR upbringings and intentions may help you to soften and forgive deeply. A change in perspective alters the energy of these memories. A soul retrieval and a memory replacement meditation will also change the composition of this energy. Re-integrating into your body a NEW energy full of love, compassion, forgiveness, and understanding.

So you see, friends, while I am a huge proponent of LETTING GO, it can be increasingly difficult. But if we follow suit with nature and attempt to release but then do the work (and take the time) to change our perspective about these things, the pressure of letting go resides and a new energy can emerge.

Nature is always calling. Answer. Follow her.
