Kale & Pineapple Smoothie
This is my go to smoothie. I love having this for breakfast because the banana makes it very filling. It's also a great way to get my veggies. Add some protein powder after a workout and it is a nutritional power house.


  • Kale
  • 2 cups water
  • sprouts
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks (try to limit to 1/2 cup because of the high sugar)
  • Frozen banana
  • Any superfoods: maca, protein powder, spirulina, cacao.

Put everything in a blender (water first), blend, and enjoy. It it's too much smoothie, split it into two jars for 2 days worth.
Tip: If your blender has a hard time blending the frozen fruit, let it sit for a few minutes and melt a little before you try again.
Tip: I often use kale and pineapple as my base for smoothies. Then I add celery, green apple, cucumber, spinach, lettuce, or anything else I may have on hand.
